About me

I’m a tax law professor at McGill University in Montreal, Canada.

My research and teaching is socio-legal and international in focus. I care about how societies are differently impacted by tax rules and norms designed by states and international institutions, and I have a related interest in how technology divides societies even as it brings us together. Tax law is not just a set of rules and regulations. It is the product of an unequal global economic, social, and political order. Being vigilant not only about the rules but who designs them and how they make their decisions is a fundamental part of my research.

I’m always interested in collaborating with researchers and students on topics related to international tax law & policy.
